Family Fun
Lake Eola this weekend (and one of a very tired Mommy and SG). Notice the crossed legs in the close up of the flower. Sarah was so excited to get her hand painted. She spent a long time deciding between a butterfly and a sunflower. She settled on the sunflower, which she then proceeded to refer to as the butterfly for the rest of the day. BTW, if you can't tell...it was cold!

Happy Halloween
This year we decided to go to a Halloween event hosted by one of the local churches. It was really great; there was plenty of trick-or-treating, pony rides, bounce houses, etc... We went with some of our friends and the kids were just too cute. SG's doctor costume was a big hit. Of course it took three times longer than we expected to do everything but what else is new and Sarah was a little overwhelmed by all the people (we heard someone say that there were over 3000 kids!), but still enjoyed herself nonetheless.

Big Adventure!

Betty the Sheep
The saga of Betty the sheep is long and storied. She has pretty much lived with us since the day we met. She likes being tossed like a football, playing hide and seek, being used as a doorstop or sometimes even a pillow. We had forgotten about Betty until she came out of hiding last week, after spending the last three years in a box in our garage. We are prepping for a garage sale and well Betty was on her way out...key word there being "was".

Look at This!
Sarah was so proud! We went on our annual (we must be crazy) trek to the Mt. Dora crafts fair on Saturday. SG was so good! It was not very kid friendly (because there are like a million people there...very easy to lose a 2 year old) and she had to spend a bunch of time in her stroller. But the pumpkin made it all worth it. SG was so disappointed when it came off in the bath that night. She kept saying "that's ok Daddy will get me another one".

Sleepover
Sarah has really been into "friends" lately. She likes to take turns bringing her friends with her to do things. Like tonight we went to dinner and it was Raggedy Ann's turn to come with; then another day it might be someone else's turn to do something. Anyway, the other day she decided she needed a friend to nap with. She is very independent, and will go into her bedroom on her own to wind down before her nap. We heard her carrying on and talking to her baby doll, telling her to close her eyes and be quiet etc. When we went in to get her up...what you can't see in the pictures is that the baby doll also has a perfectly put on diaper, which SG got from the top shelf of her closet.
